Albert Dies,
Victoria Revealed

A projection-mapped film captures Queen Victoria’s shock and grief at Prince Albert’s death.

Drawing from Queen Victoria’s diaries, NewAngle scripted a highly emotive piece, heightened visually through motion graphics, archive photographs and historic etchings, and complemented by an atmospheric audio soundscape.

NewAngle advised on the look and feel of the installation and proposed an AV projection around a bust of Prince Albert. Images fill one wall and at moments are mapped into picture frames mirroring existing family photographs on the opposite wall.

The installation ‘Albert Dies’ sits within the wider ‘Victoria Revealed’ permanent exhibition. It offers a moving insight into the darkest days of Queen Victoria’s life.
