Swansea Council has transformed the former leisure centre site into a 21st century water park with state-of-the-art health and fitness suites. The fantastic water park has indoor surfing facilities and a network of pools, slides and rides for all the family and is expected to attract up to one million visitors a year.

Newangle were commissioned by Land Design Studio to create animations with an aquatic theme for the Leisure Centre’s four story Playzone.

Working in close collaboration with OMInteractive we created a interactive floor that triggers a ripple effect across an animated rock pool.

The animations were triggered by PIR sensors, projections were both vertical and horizontal and some are on the windows where the potential visitor can view them from outside.
