The Time Galleries and Weller Astronomy Galleries are part of the Royal Observatory's recent spectacular £15 million redevelopment which also includes the Peter Harrison Planetarium and Lloyd's Trust Learning Centre.

Newangle were commissioned to create two interactives that explain the key developments that led to the creation of the most important timekeeper ever made, John Harrison’s Fouth Marine timekeeper.

Displayed on two touch tables the programme is broken down into two time based sections.  Visitors can select significant objects from Harrison’s life to gain instant factual information and access pop up windows that delve into important dates and observations from his diary.
