jan 2012 / Scott's Last Expedition, National History Museum

Scott's Last Expedition opens on the 20th January 2012. The heart of our exhibition is a scaled down version of the interior of the Hut which still stands at Cape Evans in Antarctica today. At the centre of the hut there is a table where the main activity of the team took place, we have created a projection that shows some of those activities such as dining, leisure, scientific investigation and preparing for the journey. Another projection shows the race between Scott and Amundsen to reach the pole.

sep 2011 / Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Gallery

The Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Gallery opened in October 2011 on the site of the hospital she founded. The gallery tells the story of Elizabeth and her family, the history of the hospital, the work of early women doctors, and the social changes that have taken place from the birth of the industrial revolution to the present day.

aug 2011 / Jubilee: View from the crowd: Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace are celebrating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Working with Acme Studios we have been commissioned to create an immersive installation that places the visitor within Victoria's Grand Procession of 1897. The exhibition will open in spring 2012.

jul 2011 / Royal River, Pageantry and the Thames: National Maritime Museum Greenwich

Royal River: Power, Pageantry and the Thames is a special exhibition at the National Maritime Museum to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and the 75th anniversary of the opening of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. Working with Land Design Studios Newangle are producing three single screen animations and a large video wall.

mar 2011 / Southampton Sea City Museum

Newangle have been commissioned to produce all the AV Software for this new museum. Sea City Museum will be home to two permanent galleries: Gateway to the World will look at the city’s role in the global context of emigration and immigration over 2,000 years of history, and Southampton’s Titanic Story will recount previously untold stories of the 549 Southampton people who lost their lives on the ship in 1912.

jul 2010 / Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre, Abu Dhabi

Newangle are producing 45 interactive installations for the Desert Learning Centre in Al Ain, UAE. The Centre will be a learning resource for visitors of all ages and backgrounds to explore the desert habitats and species of the country and explain how the current environment is just the latest chapter in an endless process of climate and geological change. The Centre, named in honour of the late ruler of Abu Dhabi, will open in 2012.
