Thinktank is Birmingham's museum and science attraction. It examines the past, investigates the present and explores what the future may bring.

Using a variety of multimedia techniques we explored five areas of modern medicine: surgery, genetics, the brain, immunity and public health. 

The interactives are designed for a secondary school audience. They include an arcade style game that teach the visitor about immunity and a multi screen interactive role playing game where the visitor can become a surgeon, anaesthetist or scrub nurse and carry out a ‘real’ operation.

Working with Thinktank’s scientific advisory panel Newangle was asked to develop four interactive exhibits which allowed the visitor to explore ideas around future technologies such as emotional machines, micro air vehicles and nano technology.

Using a combination of digital interactivity, purpose shot video interviews as well as mechanical models and interfaces the visitor can discover indepth insights into the future application of these developing technologies.
